Position Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming communications, and supporting basic administrative functions. This role is highly customer-facing and requires a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Greet customers, vendors, and visitors and ensure a welcoming front office experience
- Manage incoming emails and general inquiries, routing messages to the appropriate team members
- Assist customers with basic questions and service inquiries
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area
- Perform data entry and light administrative support as needed
- Assist with document preparation and basic office tasks
- Support team communication during busy seasons
Qualifications
- Previous receptionist, customer service, or front desk experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to stay calm and efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and team-oriented
