As the Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for our residents, visitors, and staff. Your friendly demeanor and excellent organizational skills will help ensure every interaction leaves a positive impression. You’ll handle calls, provide directions, and manage communication systems with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and operate the telephone console, determine nature of calls, and direct callers to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Greet, direct, and give directions/information to visitors, guests, residents, sales representatives, employees, etc.
  • Operate the intercom and paging system, locating personnel as requested.
  • Communicate emergencies, problems, or non-routine events to supervisor and/or appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a written communication log of events for each shift.
  • Communicate in a positive manner with team members, residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
  • Adhere to facility policies and procedures, including infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Maintain a calm, supportive, and caring environment for residents and staff.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation procedures, including universal precautions.
  • Attend in-service programs, educational workshops, and meetings as required by the facility and state.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Friendly, courteous, professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment
