Front Desk Night Auditor
Located in the heart of Del Mar, L’Auberge is an award-winning, luxury resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean from one of Southern California’s most picturesque coastal villages. Estate-style guest rooms and suites, a full-service spa, dreamy dining options, tennis courts, and an inviting ocean-view pool are just a few reasons why you would be proud to work here.
About the role
As a Front Desk Night Auditor, you will play a critical role in the successful overnight operation of the resort. This is much more than a traditional night audit position—you are the overnight face of the resort, responsible for ensuring our guests continue to receive the same exceptional level of service and care throughout the night.
Working independently, you will oversee the overnight Front Office operation while completing all required financial audits, reconciliations, and reporting. You will serve as a key communication link between departments, ensuring important information, incidents, guest requests, and operational needs are properly documented and communicated for the morning team. You will also support and oversee the overnight valet operation, assist with late-night arrivals and departures, respond to guest requests, coordinate overnight services, and confidently address unexpected situations as they arise.
This is a highly visible position where your presence, judgment, and attention to detail directly impact the guest experience. Whether welcoming a late-night arrival, arranging transportation, responding to a guest request, resolving a concern, or simply being there when a guest needs assistance, you have the opportunity to create memorable experiences that last long after their stay.
