Front Desk Night Audit - Part Time w/Benefits

About the role

At Navy Gateway Inns & Suites – Silverdale, WA, we are seeking Guest Service Representatives who can support our mission of providing a welcoming home away from home for service members and their families. This position involves rotating shifts, including days, swings, and night audit.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, check them in and out, and assign rooms
• Answer phones, respond to questions, and assist with reservations or cancellations
• Use the property management system (PMS) to update guest information and process transactions
• Handle guest requests, resolve issues, and escalate concerns when necessary
• Manage lost and found inquiries and log maintenance requests
• Keep the front desk and lobby area clean, organized, and secure
• Provide information about on-base amenities, hotel services, and local attractions
• Support shift coverage on weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather

Requirements

• Customer service or office/clerical experience
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Team-oriented with a professional, positive attitude
• Ability to pass a background check
• Valid driver’s license may be required

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in progressively responsible work related to position to be filled
• 1 year general office clerical experience
• Familiarity with PMS systems like Epitome
• Experience with military lodging operations is a plus

Pay

The starting pay for this position is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position is part-time, working 20-34.5 hours per week.
