Front Desk Night Audit, Overnight Shift, Part Time
About the role
The Renaissance Columbus Downtown is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Front Office Team. They offer highly competitive wages, an exceptional benefits package, and various perks including free associate meals, parking, bus passes, and discounts on properties.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register guests
- Check guests out of the hotel
- Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data
- Audit Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier
- Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service and the computer
- Handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift
- Input into the front office system revenue/expenses/allowances to generate the daily reports such as the Guest Ledger Summary and the Daily Restaurant Summary
- Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Night Audit Agent in a hotel or in a high volume industry dealing with customers
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Looking for early evenings and weekends
- Excellent computer skills
- Team spirit
- Mariott brand experience a plus
Qualifications
Associates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel systems is preferred.
