About the role

The Universal Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, offering concierge services, and facilitating tours for Wyndham Vacation Ownership presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting, registering, establishing credit, and issuing keys to guests.
  • Completing check-out procedures, computing bills, collecting payment, and making changes.
  • Providing customer service and professionalism to all guests.
  • Entering guest issues into WYNSOS program and following up with guests.
  • Cleaning and restocking front desk area, stocking amenities, assigning units, printing emergency reports, and transitioning guests into the marketing function.
  • Prescreening guests and prescreening families scheduled to tour.
  • Maintaining minimum performance standards for qualified tours processed at the site.
  • Keeping up-to-date on email communications.
  • Delivering general concierge services, addressing questions, concerns, and requests.
  • Providing information on local hot spots and activities.
  • Confirming and canceling guests' reservations.
  • Preparing paperwork and arrival information, distributing welcome gifts, and pre-calling guests.
  • Answering telephones, directing calls, and communicating with other departments.
  • Distributing guest and staff mail and messages.
  • Balancing cash receipts and performing other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of successful customer service experience in a hospitality/hotel environment.
  • Technical skills in Microsoft programs.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate good interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledgeable about Wyndham Vacation Ownership and its offerings.
  • Experience with customer service and handling guest issues.
  • Ability to qualify tours for sales presentation invitations and schedule time slots.
  • Ability to resolve guest issues within company standards and following resort level processes.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this role is $17.50 - $18.00 plus commissions and bonuses.
