Responsibilities
- Shape the members’ experience by creating exceptional first and last impressions at the club through friendly and welcoming service.
- Greet members and guests with enthusiasm, assist with inquiries, and manage check-ins and check-outs.
- Ensure all members and guests check in when using the club and address all members by name.
- Connect with members regularly and promote club activities.
- Provide personalized service, including towel and water service while members are exercising.
- Promote facility amenities, programs, and the club while maintaining professionalism aligned with club values and standards.
- Answer telephones promptly and courteously, directing calls to appropriate areas.
- Be knowledgeable about tennis court reservation policy, personal training, fitness programs, youth center reservation policy, group exercise class descriptions, class reservation schedules, and upcoming club events.
- Perform close business functions following club guidelines and procedures.
- Complete daily assignments to meet club standards, maintain orderly workspaces, tidy entry areas, and restock/organize the shop.
- Assist others as needed and take on additional tasks assigned by management.
- Follow all company, club, and department policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Maintain professionalism and excellence in interactions with members, colleagues, and staff.
- Follow safe working practices and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Take initiative in personal and professional growth, maintaining required certifications.
- Address and resolve challenges using available resources, collaborating with regional and corporate teams.
- Attend daily briefings and engage in required activities to contribute to team success.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in fitness, hospitality, or a similar environment.
- Demonstrated ability to interact positively and professionally with members and guests.
- Experience maintaining cleanliness and organization in a public or recreational facility.
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to assist members and respond to their needs.
- Experience working as part of a team in a positive and collaborative environment.
- Ability to handle minor issues or concerns with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and driving.
- Occasional exposure to temperature changes, dust, fumes, or gases.
- Squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, and bending.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 lbs. on occasion.
- Talking, hearing, and seeing.

Schedule
- Adherence to attendance requirements as outlined in the weekly schedule.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed to meet position deadlines.
