About the Role

Join our growing team as a Front Desk Coordinator and play a key role in delivering a welcoming and efficient experience for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and receive customers, determine the nature of their visit, and notify the appropriate team member(s).
  • Perform various administrative duties to support clinic operations.
  • Welcome visitors to the practice and provide information about clinic features.
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming calls; take messages as needed.
  • Check-in and collect general information from patients on their first visit.
  • Verify insurance information.
  • Notify clinicians of patient arrival and readiness.
  • Schedule appointments for returning patients as necessary.
  • Print/reprint appointment reminders and school/work excuses.
  • Make changes to the patient schedule as needed.
  • Coordinate payment arrangements or account resolution.
  • Receive, store, and deliver shipments and mail.
  • Process payments and post to accounts.
  • Update charts and patient information.
  • Drive internal marketing initiatives and foster team participation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year of administrative experience preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.

Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong listening skills to understand information presented verbally and in writing.
