Front Desk Clerk

We are looking for a Front Desk Clerk to join our Front Office team at Hyatt Regency Portland.

About the role

The hourly rate is $23.00/hour. You will welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out efficiently, process payments, issue room keys, and assist with luggage.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly, escalating issues to management as needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, including billing information and room assignments.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate guest services and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Assist with concierge services, including making reservations and providing recommendations for dining and entertainment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and welcoming attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
