Front Desk Agents Multiple Shifts Available

About the role

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dynamic Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Home2 Suites hotel located in Brooklyn Park, MN. This position will be responsible for arriving, departing and in-house guests as well as telephone inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns. This is a full time position, working 5 days per week. Shifts will vary between 7AM - 3PM and 3PM - 11PM.

Responsibilities

• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
• Issues room key and gives directions.
• Sorts incoming mail and faxes for guests.
• Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions.
• Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
• Credits bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
• Makes, confirms, and cancels reservations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent is preferred.
• Experience in a customer service industry is required.
• The ability to stand at a hotel front desk during an 8-hour shift and greet guests is mandatory.
• The ability to follow a written weekly schedule is mandatory.
