Front Desk Agent - Limelight Mammoth - Winter
About the Role
Limelight Hotels by Aspen One provide authentic and contemporary connections to their communities and the adventures that surround them. Each Limelight hotel is inspired by place, united by purpose, and set in the heart of elevated and unique locations across Colorado (Aspen, Snowmass, Denver, and Boulder), Ketchum, Idaho, Mammoth, California, and Charleston, South Carolina (coming in 2028). The Front Desk Agent welcomes and registers guests, presents statements, collects payments, and coordinates with housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services to fulfill guest requests. This position reports to the Assistant Front Office Manager.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests upon arrival and assign rooms
- Provide a summary of the hotel and its amenities
- Coordinate with other departments for daily needs or special requirements of guests
- Recommend restaurants and activities tailored to guests’ abilities, skills, and interests
- Maintain and settle the cash bank daily
- Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished
- Comply with all hotel and Aspen One policies
- Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1 year of customer or guest experience preferred
- Previous front desk experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of local mountain, town activities, and events
- Familiarity with industry terminology and company policies

- Ability to act professionally in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, walk, or be on your feet for extended periods; kneeling and bending may be required
- Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions
- Occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
