Front Desk Agent
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and manage check-ins and check-outs
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Assist guests with questions, directions, and local recommendations
- Address and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Maintain accurate guest records and room key inventory
- Support front desk operations as needed
Requirements
- Prior front desk agent experience
- Flexibility with schedule
- Ability to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time
- Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Stable work history required
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Need to be a team player
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and resolving the concerns and issues raised by guests

About the Role

Front Desk Agents are responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, cancellations, and room assignments, assisting guests with questions, directions, and local recommendations, addressing and resolving guest concerns professionally, maintaining accurate guest records and room key inventory, and supporting front desk operations as needed.
Front Desk Agents must have prior front desk agent experience, flexibility with schedule, the ability to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time, knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system, a high school diploma or equivalent, a stable work history, strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook), the ability to be a team player, the ability to convey information and ideas clearly, the ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure, the ability to handle problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary, and the ability to listen to, understand, clarify and resolve the concerns and issues raised by guests.
