Front Desk Agent

Job Description

Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and Brand goals.

Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner.

Establish and maintain good communications and teamwork with fellow employees and other departments within the hotel.

Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures including but not limited to posting all charges, completing cashier and other reports, preparing deposit, and counting/ securing assigned bank.

Requirements

• Great Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk
• Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
• Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
• Experience - ideally, you’ll have spent at least one year in a front desk or guest service position. Preferably with Opera PMS
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
