Established in 1994, Layne's is THE "born and breaded in Texas" chicken finger restaurant. The Layne's culture stems from our roots in College Station, where back in 1994, we perfected our chicken finger frying technique. True to our roots, we are a fun, fast-paced dynamic team who do not take ourselves seriously, but we take our food and our service EXTREMELY seriously.

About the Role

As a Front Counter/Drive Thru Cashier (Chicken Ordering Officer), your main responsibility will be to take care of our guests, greeting them and taking their orders. Each guest needs to feel as though they are attending a party that we are hosting for them. You will ensure they receive their food in a timely manner, have the necessary condiments, beverages, and anything else they need to make their visit special. You will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our brand-new restaurant to ensure a clean and tidy environment for our guests. A huge part of who we are is our fun-loving culture, and you will contribute to ensuring everyone has fun while serving our "soon to be famous"™ chicken fingers.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take orders at the front counter and drive-thru.
• Ensure guests feel welcomed and attended to during their visit.
• Provide timely food delivery, condiments, beverages, and other necessities.
• Maintain a clean and immaculate restaurant environment.
• Uphold and contribute to the fun, fast-paced culture of Layne's.

Requirements

• Preferably have experience in a fast-food concept.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• At least 16 years of age.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to lift and carry 10-55 lbs.
