Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage assigned Haunted Houses and/or Scare Zones.
- Ensure actors are in full costume and makeup and ready for operation in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-opening inspections of all assigned areas for cleanliness, safety, and show quality.
- Maintain staffing levels and coordinate adjustments as needed.
- Manage team member breaks and ensure proper coverage is maintained.
- Lead and motivate a team of 10–15 team members, ensuring performance meets departmental and company standards.
- Monitor attractions and report any technical or operational issues promptly.
- Communicate updates, notes, and expectations from Fright Fest Management to actors and staff.
- Ensure the safety of guests and team members at all times.
- Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional manner.
- Partner with Gate Keepers to manage queue lines and guest flow.
- Communicate operational needs, concerns, and incidents to department leadership.
- Complete and maintain all required team member documentation, including safety talks, coaching records, and disciplinary reports.
- Utilize two-way radios to communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Maintain show quality, energy, and guest engagement throughout the operating day.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work all operating days (Fridays–Sundays) from September 1, 2026, through November 1, 2026.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Previous haunted attraction experience and/or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of storytelling, guest service, and workplace safety.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable speaking in front of large groups and engaging with guests and team members.
- Alert and able to react quickly to changing show conditions, guest needs, and crowd situations.
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and at all times of day.
- Must be able to work around strobe lighting, fog effects, loud noises, and other theatrical elements.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, traverse all areas of the park and haunted attractions, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and the ability to meet Six Flags driving requirements.
