French Remote Interpreter

About the role

Certified Languages International (CLI) connects clients with world-class interpreting services. This contract position involves 100% over-the-phone interpretation, primarily for medical calls. Services are provided to various industries including insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts. Positions are freelance and work-from-home, allowing interpreters to set their own schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide over-the-phone interpreting services to clients 24/7
• Use CLI's online portal or landline to log on and off
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US and be a resident of the US
• Minimum two years of professional interpreting experience, preferably Over the Phone Interpreting

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the US (SSN or EIN and Photo ID required)
• Reside in the United States

Qualifications

• Pass a language assessment provided by CLI

Benefits

• Paid per minute on a twice-monthly basis via direct deposit

Pay

Payment is on a per-minute basis, with interpreters paid for every minute spent on the phone interpreting.

Schedule

Interpreters can provide services any time, 24/7, using CLI's online portal or landline telephone to log on and off.
