French Canadian Remote Interpreter

About the role

Certified Languages International (CLI) seeks French Canadian telephonic interpreters who are native speakers from Quebec. This role involves providing over-the-phone interpretation services for a variety of industries including medical, insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional interpreting services for LEP callers in French
• Interpret in various industries including medical, insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts
• Work from home with flexible scheduling
• Log on and off using CLI's online portal or landline telephone
• Interpret for clients 24/7 as needed

Requirements

• Legal to work in the United States (SSN or EIN and Photo ID required)
• Reside in the United States
• Fluent in French
• Experience in over-the-phone interpretation is preferred

Qualifications

• High volume of calls, primarily medical in nature
• Service provided 24/7 as needed
• Payment is on a per-minute basis, with payment issued twice monthly via direct deposit

Pay

Payment is on a per-minute basis, with interpreters paid for every minute spent on the phone interpreting. Payment is issued twice a month, on the 15th and last day of the month via direct deposit.
