French Interpreter

As a busy interpreting service provider, we are seeking to onboard hard-working, fully-bilingual foreign language interpreters to provide in-person interpretation for our local Nebraska clients. Requirements

• Fully bilingual
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
• Must have transportation to attend appointments locally (in‑person interpreters only)
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers required)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Proof of vaccination required (or valid medical/religious exemption; documentation to be submitted prior to interview)
• Independent contractor position

Schedule

Schedule is PRN (as needed), part‑time (or less depending on languages spoken) and flexible based on interpreter availability and preferences. However, applicants must have some availability Monday‑Friday, 7 AM–5 PM, as this is when services are typically needed. Hours are not guaranteed and are based on availability, languages spoken, and client needs.
