About The Position
This is a .8 FTE continuing contract position for a French and English Teacher at Mountlake Terrace High School starting with the 2026-27 school year. Preference will be given to candidates holding an ELL, ESOL, or Bilingual endorsement. SIOP and GLAD training will be provided by the Multilingual Education Department for all new employees, except if they can demonstrate previous completion of these trainings.
Required Qualifications
- A Washington State Teaching Certificate with a French Endorsement and an English Language Arts endorsement, or the ability to obtain the proper endorsement(s) prior to the position start date.

Salary
For the 2025-26 school year, the salary range is $83,305 through $148,226. The salary placement is determined by FTE and official documentation verifying educational level and certificated work experience, with proration for less than a full year and/or FTE.

Physical Requirements/Demands
- Navigating various school and classroom environments
