What Will You Do?

  • Manage and audit transportation documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely data entry.
  • Verify shipment manifests, bills of lading (BOLs), and freight rates, linking warehouse, accounting, and logistics teams to reconcile inventory and delivery records.
  • Document Management: Process, review, and file shipping documents (bills of lading, delivery receipts, and customs declarations).
  • Data Entry & Audit: Accurately input shipment data—such as weight, freight charges, and item descriptions—into company databases or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Dispute Resolution: Audit carrier invoices and shipping bills; identify overcharges, missing freight, or damages and file claims accordingly.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure all freight documentation meets federal, state, and internal regulations (e.g., DOT, OSHA, and customs).
  • Cross-Functional Support: Communicate with truck drivers, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and customers to track deliveries and address any transit issues.

What Do You Need?

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1–3 years in shipping, receiving, logistics, or administrative records management.
  • Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and experience using logistics tracking and management systems.
  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
