Freight Forwarder - Ocean Import

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage the importation of goods by ocean, including customs clearance and delivery to the final destination
• Manage the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing the movement of goods through various transportation channels
• Cook up relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise
• Collaborate with other internal departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws

• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates
• Other Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, Strong communication and interpersonal skills, Attention to detail and accuracy, Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

• Function: Freight Forwarder - Ocean Import
• Market & Industry Knowledge: Understanding of ocean freight logistics and customs regulations, Understanding of trade laws and regulations
• Business Acumen: Knowledge of trade laws and regulations

Language Skills

• Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, Knowledge of additional languages is a plus

Computer Literacy

• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Experience with logistics software and systems is preferred

Pay

Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
