Freight Forwarder Assistant

Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation and processing of shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Enter shipment data into computer systems and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and third-party service providers to coordinate and track shipments.
• Provide administrative support to the freight forwarding team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents.
• Afford assistance with billing and invoicing processes.
• Earn compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in air exports is highly desirable.
