Freight Forwarder Assistant, Air Export Gateway

Duties And Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation and processing of shipping documents, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Enter shipment data into computer systems and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, and third-party service providers to coordinate and track shipments.
• Provide administrative support to the freight forwarding team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents.
• Aid in billing and invoicing processes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in air exports is highly desirable.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $20.75- $27.75 / Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
