Freight Flow Associate-1

Position Summary

Operates forklifts and completes work assignments following company policies and procedures.

What you'll do...

• Operates forklifts safely and complies with company standards.
• Pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and supplies.
• Organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and assisting with purchases and issues.
• Maintain safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, and handling hazardous materials.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation according to company policies.
• Handle moves and displays goods safely and maintain inventory levels.
• Report poor inventory practices and low stock levels.
• Proactively identify and assist customers with technology services.
• Identify and resolve shrinkage opportunities and problems.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely and report poor or unsafe conditions.
• Proactively engage customers and assist them with technology services.
• Model and help others with technology services.
• Respect individuals by embracing differences, creating a supportive workplace, and recognizing contributions.

Minimum Qualifications

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• Retail Experience.
• Supervising a team.

Pay Range

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00*

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
