Overview
The Freezer worker is responsible for understanding and following all assigned tasks and abiding by all safety requirements. This role plays a vital role in supporting production plants, storing, and shipping ingredients and finished products.

Responsibilities
- Operates machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times.
- Assists with preparing for production shift.
- Become knowledgeable of the mechanics and operation of machine in which they operate.
- Understand the receiving process and how it supports the Distribution Center.
- Palletizing responsibilities: Assists in the loading of trucks. Assists in the completing shipping/receiving documents. Verify loads leaving the premises.
- Utilizes understanding of the Distribution Center to make Management aware of delays in the loading process/production selections and set up.
- Communicate problems or issues that are occurring on the production floor or the warehouse area to their Crew Leader or Leader.
- Work and communicate with other departments on production issues or concerns.
- Follows attendance policy. Observes department call-in procedures.
- Maintain a positive attitude and get along well with coworkers.
- Exhibits teamwork and willingness to help others.
- Follows dress code and maintains a professional appearance.
- Can be relied upon to complete assigned tasks.
- Complies with established Departmental and Organizational policies and procedures.
- Works within a team environment to meet/exceed established production standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year work experience.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Must have a great attention to detail to be able to detect the presence of product or ingredient issues.
- Ability to visually inspect product and materials.
- An understanding or willingness to learn food manufacturing and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal or written communications.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekend and overtime as needed.
