Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality products are taken care of and available for our members.
- Maintain clean shelves, proper temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products.
- Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area.
- Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting, handling hazardous materials, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations.
- Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the Freezer/Cooler/Deli area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up and cleaning product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, completing required audits and documentation, and securing fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting the company’s products and services.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to the Freezer/Cooler area, including complying with food handling policies, operating and sanitizing equipment, following Cold Chain procedures, cleaning the area, monitoring freezer/cooler fans, drains, and doors, and reporting issues to management.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
