About the role
We’re seeking a dynamic educator with a teaching background in Computer Programming to write high school courses. The ideal candidate will be well versed in Digital Technology, have a solid understanding of state standards and certification exams, and have experience teaching at the high school or community college level. You should be able to write in an engaging and conversational style appropriate for 13 to 17-year-olds.
Responsibilities
- Write a two-semester course with 8 units of study (each unit consisting of 5500 - 7000 words)
- Participate in a paid audition to demonstrate writing ability and engagement
- Disseminate knowledge via writing
- Work with state standards
- Apply constructive feedback
- Plan curriculum
- Work remotely as part of a large team
Requirements
- Well versed in Digital Technology
