Freelance Presentation Designer

This is a short-term 6-8 week project for a global organization preparing for a major event in September.

About the role

A team needs additional freelance design support to create polished presentation materials for senior executives or high-profile business audiences. The role requires translating complex business, technology, or product ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives using custom icons, infographics, and a cohesive design language. A strong focus on simplicity, clarity, and refined visual style is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design polished presentations for senior executives and high-profile business audiences.
• Apply expertise in typography, visual hierarchy, layout, composition, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Translate complex ideas into clear, compelling visual narratives through custom icons, infographics, and a cohesive design language.
• Create and edit images, including photo compositing, visual concepting, and AI-assisted image generation.
• Develop advanced PowerPoint presentations with animations, motion paths, transitions, builds, timing, and slide production.
• Design for live event environments, large screens, widescreen formats, and keynote-stage delivery.
• Work responsively with fast turnaround and comfort through multiple revision cycles under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• Expert-level PowerPoint skills, including advanced animation and motion design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating polished presentation design for senior executives or high-profile business audiences.
• Solid understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, layout, composition, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent image creation and editing skills, including photo compositing and AI-assisted image generation.
• Experience designing for live event environments, large screens, and widescreen formats.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00 per hour.
