Freelance Media Buyer – UAE Haircare

This role is ideal for a skilled media buyer with deep knowledge of the UAE women's haircare market. You will be responsible for developing and executing paid advertising strategies for an established Asian scalp-care and haircare brand, distributed locally for over a year. The focus is on driving demand through lean Meta and TikTok campaigns, leveraging your understanding of local consumer behavior and trends. You will evaluate the current creative library, identify assets suitable for reuse or localization, and recommend new creative briefs tailored to the UAE market. The position requires advising on budget allocation between creative and media spend, collaborating with UGC partners, and crafting locally relevant ad copy. The initial engagement is a one-month test, with the opportunity for rapid scaling based on performance. Deliverables Plan and execute Meta and TikTok ad campaigns targeting UAE women interested in haircare. Audit existing creative assets and recommend which to reuse, localize, or replace. Develop creative briefs for localization and UGC content with UAE talent. Advise on optimal budget split between creative production and media spend. Create and test locally relevant ad copy and messaging. Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights for optimization. Collaborate with distributor and creative partners to ensure campaign alignment with brand goals. Requirements Proven experience as a media buyer or digital marketing specialist in the UAE market. Strong understanding of the local women's haircare sector and consumer preferences. Demonstrated expertise in Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok ad platforms. Ability to assess and localize creative assets for the UAE audience. Experience working with UGC creators and managing creative briefs. Analytical skills to interpret campaign data and optimize performance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus. Based in the UAE with knowledge of local advertising regulations and trends. Availability for an initial one-month contract with potential for extension.
