Freelance Event Brand Advisor - Tacoma, WA

About the role

We're engaging experienced, self-directed Brand Advisors for a short-term event project in Tacoma & Olympia, WA on September 18th & 19th at Ulta Beauty locations (Ulta 1810 Olympia and Ulta 1440 Tacoma).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales toward ambitious event targets during live in-store events
• Execute event mechanics — GWPs (Gift With Purchase), TOAs (Testers On Arrival), and the specific focus of each activation
• Bring high energy and expert client engagement to create an experiential event atmosphere
• Rally and activate the store team to ensure full-floor participation
• Represent premium national brands with polish and professionalism

Requirements

• Proven prestige beauty or retail selling experience with a track record of hitting aggressive sales goals
• Experience running or working beauty events and creating energy on the sales floor
• Ability to operate independently and manage your own approach to hitting sales targets without hand-holding
• Availability for the full set of event dates (September 18th & 19th)
• Reliable transportation to the event locations

Qualifications

This is an independent contractor (1099) engagement, not employment. You will invoice for the project and are responsible for your own taxes.

Pay

Flat day rate of $200 per event day, paid on completion.
