Freelance Event Brand Advisor - Tampa, FL

Compensation: $200 per day

About the role

We're engaging an experienced, self-directed Brand Advisor for a one-day event project in Tampa, FL on September 18th to execute an in-store event activation for a high-profile brand at Ulta 746 Lakeland.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales toward ambitious event targets during live in-store events
• Execute event mechanics — GWPs, TOAs, and the specific focus of each activation
• Bring high energy and expert client engagement to make the event feel like an experience
• Rally and activate the store team so the whole floor is behind the event

Requirements

• Proven prestige beauty/retail selling experience and a track record of hitting aggressive sales goals
• Experience running or working beauty events and creating energy on a sales floor
• Ability to operate independently — manage your own approach to hitting sales targets without hand-holding
• Availability for the full event date (September 18th)
• Reliable transportation to the event location

Details

• This is an independent contractor (1099) engagement, not employment — you invoice for the project and are responsible for your own taxes
• Flat day rate of $200 per event day, paid on completion
• You'll receive an event brief and brand education materials; how you hit your goals on the floor is up to you
