Freelance Content Creator – Clothing Brand Instagram

About the role

This role focuses on creating dynamic and engaging video content for a clothing brand's Instagram, with the aim of building anticipation for an upcoming product drop and growing the brand's online presence. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, filming, and editing regular content that documents the brand's journey and connects with its target audience. The position is based in Austin with a hybrid work arrangement, and applicants open to travel are encouraged to apply. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior or mid-level videographer passionate about fashion, storytelling, and social media trends.

Deliverables

• Plan and storyboard creative Instagram video content aligned with the brand's vision and marketing goals
• Film and edit high-quality videos showcasing the brand's journey, behind-the-scenes moments, and product teasers
• Produce consistent content from now through January to maintain audience engagement and anticipation
• Collaborate on content ideas that resonate with the target market and reflect current social media trends
• Ensure all content is optimized for Instagram formats (Reels, Stories, Posts) and adheres to platform best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience in videography and video editing, ideally for social media or fashion brands
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of Instagram content strategies and audience engagement techniques
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas and adapt to evolving trends
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to deliver regular content on schedule
• Based in Austin or willing to travel for shoots as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively
• Portfolio of relevant video work, preferably with examples of Instagram or brand storytelling content
