About the role
ProMomProMom is an AI companion designed to support the entire motherhood journey, from trying to conceive through pregnancy and postpartum. The app is private, does not sell user data, and is ad-free. As a small, fast-paced team, we focus on creating a calming experience for our users, who are often overwhelmed, anxious, and exhausted.
Responsibilities
- Develop a brand palette for marketing and an app color system that reflects different stages of motherhood and functional states.
- Establish a type direction for the brand and app, ensuring readability and a calm, human tone.
- Create a new logo and App Store icon that aligns with the refreshed visual identity.
- Define an illustration style and provide brand design elements for consistency across the app and marketing materials.
- Document a brand style guide in Figma, collaborating with the in-house UX team to ensure alignment with the product build.
Requirements
- Strong background in color and typography systems, with experience in delivering these systems within a real product.
- Experience working with in-house product teams, particularly in brand and product design.
- Real availability for 12 to 20 hours per week over 3 to 4 weeks, starting immediately.
- Free of any employer restrictions on outside work and IP ownership.
- Comfortable working across time zones, with meetings primarily in Pacific business hours and some flexibility for GMT+3 time zone.
Qualifications
- Health, women's health, wellness, or consumer app brand experience is a plus.
- Experience working alongside an in-house product team is beneficial.
Skills
- Strong systems thinking and design judgment.
- Experience leading brand direction and design.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with an in-house product team.
