About the Role
The Fraud Representative investigates suspected fraud committed against supported clients and their customers. This includes reviewing and investigating reports of suspected fraudulent activity, analyzing data, collaborating with customers and internal teams, and documenting findings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations into suspected fraud
- Utilize data analysis techniques to identify fraudulent activity
- Gather information and documentation from customers and internal sources to build comprehensive fraud cases
- Correct and remediate fraudulent activity and provide resolutions to affected accounts or individuals
- Document the rationale and determination for each fraud report, ensuring clear and thorough records are maintained
- Follow-up with customers and internal contacts throughout the investigation process to ensure clarity and resolution
- Maintain confidentiality of all information gathered
- Aid in implementing new processes, procedures, and fraud detection methods to enhance overall fraud prevention
Requirements
- Experience in Financial Crime Investigations
- At least 1 year of Financial/Customer Support Experience
- Strong proficiency with data analysis techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Self-driven and resourceful
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Google Suite tools
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Mac OS (preferred)
