Key Job Responsibilities

  • Schedules logistics and secures resources to support the operational plans of the program or unit
  • Makes sure the program budget is monitored and approved expenditures are made
  • Exercises supervisory authority, including hiring, transferring, suspending, promoting, managing conduct and performance, discharging, assigning, rewarding, disciplining, and/or approving hours worked of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
  • Plans, organizes, administers, and manages processes and operations related to assigned area(s) of responsibility
  • Maintains and modifies processes, procedures, and/or standards, ensuring alignment with the Institution's mission, values, goals, and objectives, as well as all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Serves as the program or unit liaison to internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Advises and enforces Institution policies related to services in Student Affairs Department: Wisconsin Union, Social Education, Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL)

Compensation

The expected starting salary for the position is $57,795. We are currently recruiting for two positions.

Required Qualifications

  • Three years minimum experience working with fraternities/sororities on a campus or national organization
  • Experience supporting culturally based fraternal organizations (CBFOs)
  • Demonstrated understanding of harm prevention and reduction strategies
  • Demonstrated understanding of student learning and curriculum design and facilitating educational programs
  • Experience advising college students
  • Strong commitment to equity
  • Ability to work independently and collectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with population level strategies to influence students and organizations

Education

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or related field is preferred.
