About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans based on district and state standards.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Engage students in active learning through various teaching methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs and resources.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas.
• Eligible to obtain an alternative teaching credential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
