About the role
The Franchise Operations Consultant supports Franchisees and Center Managers, providing guidance and coaching to meet or exceed sales, car count, and customer experience metrics. This role focuses on improving franchisee performance and profitability while maintaining the Take 5 Oil Change brand.
Responsibilities
- Achieve position goals, timelines, and KPI metrics through coaching all franchisees in a geographic territory.
- Support center operations through in-center visits and virtual coaching sessions.
- Conduct market meetings and peer-to-peer focus groups to deliver training on company initiatives.
- Utilize observations and data-driven insights to provide directional coaching to improve revenue, people development, and customer experiences.
- Use available reports and tools to improve gross profit, reduce expenses, and maximize EBITDA to improve franchisee profitability.
- Document all activity in FranConnect, including Take 5 Operational Audits, Profit Reviews, Center Visits, and Virtual Coaching Forms.
- Interface with all support departments to ensure timely and accurate responses to franchisees' needs and questions.
- Focus on strategic and tactical processes to improve the center’s customer experience through measurable systems like NPS and online ratings.
- Ensure franchisee compliance to brand obligations for quality, image, training, and service.
- Attend and participate in the Take 5 Annual Rally and drive 100% attendance at the event, participate in Take 5 Operations & Training meetings, and other corporate organized events as needed.
- Create and deliver content as needed.
- Implement marketing and sales direction to increase regional revenue growth.
- Effectively demonstrate, coach, observe, evaluate, analyze, and train all aspects of the Take 5 Operating system through coaching methodology.
- Build trust through respectful communication and dedication to gain a positive coaching relationship with franchisees and key managers.
- Create, use, and deliver appropriate communication and technologies (via video, PowerPoint, Excel, webinars, L&D platforms, BI tools, etc.) to maximize communication with franchisees and employees.
- Contribute, communicate, and implement new/current company initiatives.
- Aid in the development of new systems and resources for the franchise system.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for the territory.
- Deliver the obligations within the franchise agreement.
- Communicate succession planning with franchisees across the district to support growth and timely new unit openings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in multi-unit operations (franchise/chain).
- Strong financial analysis and P&L management skills.
- Proven ability to lead in sales, marketing, and operations.
- Results-oriented with a can-do attitude.
- Excellent sales, consulting, and communication skills.
- Skilled in group training, presentations, and public speaking.
- Automotive or hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Franchise experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Home base located in the Western US preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have the ability to bend and crawl as needed in a shop environment.
Qualifications

Pay
$66,500.00 - $118,800.00 annually
