As District Manager, you are responsible for:
- Maximizing the assigned district's revenue and cash flow growth
- Executing an obsessive guest experience that continually exceeds guest expectations
- Providing leadership and vision to your District management staff
- Offering guidance and mentorship to other members of the operations team
- Identifying the training needs of cafe managers and executing applicable training
- Fostering a mentoring and supportive environment focused on continuous development of teams
- Supporting franchisee owners and their GMs to ensure they have processes and procedures to manage performance
- Ensuring cafe managers have specific, focused and well-executed sales and marketing plans
- Evaluating cafe financial progress and performance and developing action plans accordingly
- Maintaining operational and guest service standards and communicating them to cafe managers
- Proactively meeting or exceeding guest experiences and addressing service gaps
- Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures for food and beverage sales, food safety, and health/sanitation
- Utilizing preventive maintenance programs to maintain cafe facilities
- Working varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support business needs
Knowledge And Responsibilities
- Support strategic planning, implementation, and follow-up initiatives among the team of managers in their market
- Manage corporate café operations and all aspects of corporate talent, including talent acquisition, retention, and development
- Facilitate one-on-one or classroom training as appropriate and needed with franchisee teams
- Ensure cafe managers have specific, focused and well-executed sales and marketing plans
- Evaluate cafe financial progress and performance and develop action plans accordingly
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures for food and beverage sales, food safety, and health/sanitation
- Utilize preventive maintenance programs to maintain cafe facilities
What You Need To Have
- Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of progressive related experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
- At least 3 to 5 years of progressive management experience managing teams
- Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable
- Thorough knowledge of working Point of Sale (POS) register systems, Toast experience preferred
- Strong Inventory Planning and Management skills required
- P&L capability and sales/marketing skills and abilities
- Able to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as extended workdays to support business needs
