About the role
The Franchise and Distribution Practice at Greenberg Traurig seeks a Mid-Level Associate to join our dynamic team in one of our major U.S. offices.
Responsibilities
- Advise on franchise, licensing, and distribution network development, expansion, and operation
- Work on sophisticated transactional matters including franchise program development, regulatory compliance, commercial agreements, international expansion strategies, and franchise-related mergers and acquisitions
- Provide strategic counsel to clients across various industries and jurisdictions
- Engage directly with clients and participate in complex transactions
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate, and/or licensing matters
- Preferred: Franchise experience, but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, and willingness to take on significant responsibility
- Detail-oriented and excellent writing skills
Qualifications
- Strong academic credentials
Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of franchise laws and regulations

Pay
- Range: Denver and Aspen: $215,000-$265,000
Chicago: $250,000-$300,000
Minneapolis: $215,000-$285,000
Washington D.C.: $260,000-$365,000
New Jersey: $215,000-$240,000
Schedule
Full-time employment with potential for a discretionary bonus
