The Role

Working alongside experienced practitioners, you will advise clients on a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, including:

  • Supporting franchise, licensing, and distribution transactions for clients across multiple industries.
  • Assisting with mergers and acquisitions involving franchise and distribution businesses.
  • Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements.
  • Advising clients on franchise program development and expansion strategies.
  • Providing guidance on franchise and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Supporting domestic and international business growth initiatives.
  • Working directly with clients on complex commercial transactions and strategic business objectives.

This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct client contact, and the opportunity to build expertise within one of the most dynamic areas of commercial law.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3–5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, commercial transactions, licensing, or related practice areas within a law firm.
  • Franchise experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and sound commercial judgment.
  • The ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional client service.
  • A proactive mindset and the confidence to take ownership of complex matters.

Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, must have previous experience working in a law firm, and must be admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
