Framing manager

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art. Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
• Coach and develop the team in selling behaviors.
• Plan and deliver high-quality custom framing solutions to customers on time, working closely with the Store Manager.
• Achieve and manage team Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
• Review and manage sales and production workload, building plans and sales floor time for networking.
• Manage and execute inventory management processes as assigned.
• Manage and execute shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Support the hiring, on-boarding, coaching, observing, and training of new Team members; participate in Talent Development and Performance Management activities.
• Collaborate with MOD’s daily on framing and other tasks.
• Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, maintaining a positive and professional image.
• Participate in truck un-loading and stocking processes, ensuring compliance with standards and budget constraints.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Engage with customers, help locate products, and provide solutions.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Qualifications

• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Standing for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and frames and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
