About the role

A boutique, women-owned creative studio working with retail, beauty, CPG, fashion, and wellness brands is hiring a Fractional Managing Director to run business development and help manage client relationships. The studio helps brands connect with female consumers through strategy, design, and content, with past clients spanning major names in retail, beauty, and lifestyle. This is a senior freelance role for someone scrappy, sharp, and genuinely good with people. The managing director builds the pipeline, writes and runs proposals, closes deals, and stays close to clients once the work starts. The studio is looking for someone with indie shop or boutique studio experience rather than a big-network agency background.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling creative, brand, or marketing services
• Experience at an indie shop or boutique studio (not a large network agency)
• Strong interpersonal skills and genuine comfort building client relationships
