Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
What’s the Job?
Provide interim financial leadership during a CFO transition, ensuring continuity of accounting, financial reporting, and business operations. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, financial planning activities, cash flow management, banking relationships, and organizational financial performance. Mentor, coach, and upskill the finance and accounting team, strengthening overall team capabilities and supporting leadership development. Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions, growth initiatives, capital projects, and customer and banking relationships. Monitor financial systems, reporting processes, and ongoing initiatives, including support for business growth, fiscal year-end activities, and key operational projects.
What’s Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience
- Progressive financial leadership experience in a Controller, CFO, Fractional CFO, or senior finance leadership capacity
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end and year-end close processes
- Ability to lead, mentor, and influence teams within a collaborative, family-owned business environment
Pay & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $75+/hour (W2, based on experience)
- Employment Type: Part-time contract engagement (10-20 hours per week) for approximately 7+ months, with potential for extension
