About the role
The Senior FPGA Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex digital circuits using FPGA technology. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet project specifications and are manufacturable.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance digital circuits using FPGA technology.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware and software solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FPGA-based systems.
- Document design processes and results for future reference and team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FPGA design and development.
- Experience with Verilog/VHDL programming and synthesis tools.
- Strong understanding of digital logic design principles and circuit theory.
- Knowledge of hardware design methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using EDA tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Synopsys Design Compiler, etc.
- Experience with embedded systems and low-level programming.
