FPGA Design Engineer, Senior

About the role

The Senior FPGA Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and testing complex digital circuits using FPGA technology. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet project specifications and are manufacturable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance digital circuits using FPGA technology.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate hardware and software solutions.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of FPGA-based systems.
• Document design processes and results for future reference and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in FPGA design and development.
• Experience with Verilog/VHDL programming and synthesis tools.
• Strong understanding of digital logic design principles and circuit theory.
• Knowledge of hardware design methodologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in using EDA tools such as Xilinx Vivado, Synopsys Design Compiler, etc.
• Experience with embedded systems and low-level programming.
