FP&A Intern

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering data, updating models, and validating assumptions.
• Perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods; summarize key findings.
• Maintain and update financial models, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing summary reports.
• Support month-end financial processes, including data validation and reporting.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed.
• Support process improvements, including data organization and reporting efficiency initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members on cross-functional initiatives and process documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, willingness to learn and take initiative, basic financial analysis and critical-thinking skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, good interpersonal skills; able to work well with a wide range of individuals, demonstrates dependability and accountability.
