FP&A Intern

About the Role

The Finance Intern will work closely with a Finance Manager, adding value across the entire organization. This role involves gathering financial information and providing analysis and guidance to managers, department heads, and executives to help them weigh the financial impact of business decisions. The intern will assist the Manager of Financial Planning in forecasting, reporting, and distributing financial reports to all departments, while developing knowledge of all Echo's business units, customers, and sales reps. This position also provides insight into various projects and roles within the Echo Finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing results of financials specific to business units and underlying performance metrics
• Working collaboratively with departments to complete expense allocations for the monthly close process
• Iterating a quarterly forecast and comparing actual vs forecasted results of business units
• Analyzing large quantities of data and delivering a concise message on what the data is telling us

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance or Accounting
• Overall minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience manipulating, interpreting, and presenting data

Pay

$35,223.00-50,166.00 per year
