FP&A Consultant

Vaco has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization to provide interim FP&A support during a key finance leadership transition. The company was recently acquired by a public company and is navigating new reporting requirements, creating an immediate need for a hands-on finance professional.

About the role

This is a part-time, hybrid position based in Tempe, AZ. The project duration is 3-6 months with approximately 16 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a weekly 13-week cash flow forecast for reporting to the parent company
• Support monthly close activities and financial reporting requirements
• Perform budget-to-actual analysis and identify key business drivers
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations during a period of organizational transition

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modeling capabilities
• Must be local to the Phoenix area and able to be onsite occasionally

Pay

$55 - $60 per hour
