FP&A Analyst

About the role

This role supports financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic analysis across the organization, helping drive data-informed business decisions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards dedicated to the business and health of Two Sigma, using AI-powered development platforms, databases, and frontend applications
• Build and maintain analytics tooling to accurately model business scenarios and outcomes
• Support the firmwide expense charge-out framework
• Refactor and migrate reporting workflows into scalable SQL-based models to support and enhance existing data feeds and optimize financial reporting capabilities
• Cook up and maintain data governance and management frameworks to ensure consistency, accuracy and reliability of financial data

Requirements

• 1-5 years of work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Collaborative, resourceful, and experienced with project management
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code) and data management practices to build financial dashboards and streamline processes
• SQL experience required (BigQuery preferred); Python, dbt, and Git experience is a plus
• Front-end development (e.g. React) to support the design of dashboards and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plus
