An integral support to both front of the house and back of the house, ensuring a memorable and seamless guest experience. The Fountain Worker sets the stage for the guest experience with a welcoming smile and exceptional service, providing the highest quality of Food and Beverage service in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner.
- Process customer orders and payments utilizing company POS system.
- Package orders as per guest's preference with essential condiments.
- Ensure food items are constantly stocked and properly rotated.
- Stock products as needed.
- Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service to guests.
- Resolve guest complaints to satisfaction and/or communicate guest issues to management.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized work area.
- Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
- Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc.
- Deliver beverages, including alcoholic options, to guests.
- Maintain knowledge of house drink selection and menu items and make recommendations to dining room guests.
- Maintain knowledge of food menu and selection to make recommendations to “Take Out” guests.
- Adhere to five core non-negotiable responsibilities:
- Everyone is an Ambassador – treat the property like your own home, ensuring no one gets hurt, everyone feels secure, the environment is clean, and every guest gets what they need.
- Everyone works in Safety – address safety concerns by correcting them or notifying the appropriate department or individual.
- Everyone works in Security – report any security concerns to the appropriate department or individual.
- Everyone works in EVS – pick up trash or notify the appropriate department if a mess needs more attention.
- Everyone works in Guest Experience – assist guests with a smile and notify the appropriate department if more assistance is needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to competently use a Point-of-Sale register.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.
- 1 year of experience in the field or equivalent.
- At least 1 year as a cashier or previous experience as a barista in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Position required licenses:
- Food handlers card
- Alcohol awareness card
- Non-Gaming Sheriff card
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous working experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
Physical Demands
- Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
- Prolonged sitting/standing.
- Bending and reaching.
- Transporting, pushing, pulling, lifting, and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Eye/hand coordination.
- Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS), and other instructions.
