Foundry Grill Service Bar Tender

Part-time, year-round position with variable night shifts, generally 3–5 days a week (Monday through Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with Utah liquor laws.
• Account for wine, liquor, and beer inventory for the Foundry Grill.
• Set up and stock the bar at the beginning and end of each shift; keep bar clean and organized at all times.
• Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Support Foundry Grill staff in serving and delivering drinks and wine.
• Assist management by putting away daily deliveries and maintaining storage facilities.
• Work with service staff in side work, keeping the restaurant clean and organized during slow periods.
• Support the recycling program.
• Share the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as opportunities arise.

Requirements

• At least 1–2 years of previous bartending and/or beverage experience.
• Previous serving experience desired.
• Bartending school and/or certification preferred.
• Must possess or obtain a valid food handlers permit within 30 days of employment.
• Must possess or obtain a valid alcohol service permit within 30 days of employment.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Pay

$13.00/hour + tips.
